Is it a good place for a relaxing quiet dinner to get away from the busy crowds

Absolutely, fantastic atmosphere!

I have to say we we're not at all impressed. The menu is fairly dated and there are much better options available at this price point. Look at Doc's wine and food over on brookside, you'll be glad you did!

When billed as place with traditional American fare, relaxed atmosphere, etc. I was expecting a more casual place, like a mom and pop type dinner. If want to pay over $30 for a steak, there are definitely other places I would think of first.

Your not just paying for the delicious food...its the atmosphere and great service with a very friendly staff! We love Michael Vs, been going there regularly for years.

Do they do a daily brunch?

Only on weekends I believe.
